Rowden has been appointed to the techUK Justice and Emergency Services (JES) Council for the 2026–2028 term. The Council brings together organisations with hands-on experience in designing, integrating, and operating digital systems used across policing, fire, justice, and emergency response.

Rowden’s appointment reflects the company’s growing role in the emergency response sector, applying experience from defence and national security to the delivery of mission-critical systems at the operational edge.

This capability is currently being applied with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), where Rowden is building an incident response and command capability to support operational decision-making. The system improves situational awareness, reduces reliance on manual processes, and integrates operational data without disrupting existing control-room or enterprise systems.

Through the JES Council, Rowden will contribute insight from the design, integration, and deployment of systems that must operate in remote and challenging environments and remain resilient when central services or networks are under strain. The company continues to invest in this area by extending its edge device management, sensing, and networking capabilities to support incident response at scale.
