Sensing and Communications is Rowden’s portfolio of deployable RF and edge sensing systems for defence and national security operations.

We build systems that are lightweight, compact, and deployable at scale. Capability is programmed and fielded quickly, and reconfigured to suit different missions without full redesign.

Our approach combines modular hardware with a software layer designed for walk-up use. Systems can be programmed and employed with minimal training burden, without reliance on specialist operators.

This is underpinned by sovereign development across software, RF, and hardware, backed by dedicated investment in test, evaluation, and UK-based manufacturing. We control the full lifecycle from design through to production, enabling rapid iteration and assured delivery without dependency on external constraints.

We work closely with partners building adjacent capabilities, where sensing and communications systems are integrated as part of more complex operational deployments.
