Rowden has been recognised in the Financial Times FT1000 list of Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies, ranking 196 overall and placing in the top five in the Aerospace & Defence sector.
The FT1000, compiled annually by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, identifies Europe’s highest growth businesses based on independently verified revenue performance over a three-year period. The ranking reflects sustained, organic growth and operational scale, benchmarking companies across all sectors and markets.
In 2026, Rowden is continuing to scale its engineering capacity, with more than 100 new roles being created this year and expanded facilities coming online to support increased design, integration, and manufacturing activity.
The company is preparing to introduce new variants of its sensing and edge device management products to UK and international markets, while continuing to deliver mission systems programmes for the UK Government.

We’re pleased to see the business recognised. Our focus remains on growing in the UK, building systems that are genuinely useful to critical industries, and creating skilled engineering jobs in the Southwest. We believe there is space to build a lasting, impactful British engineering company in edge systems, and that’s what we’re working towards.
