Rowden backs the Pitbulls

Rowden Technologies has signed a sponsorship with the Bristol Pitbulls ice hockey team for the 2026/27 NIHL National League season.

The deal will see the Bristol-headquartered engineering company’s logo featured on the new home and away shirts and helmets.

Bristol Pitbulls, founded in 2009 by Richie Hargreaves, provided the city with its first senior ice hockey team since 1993. The team competes every weekend from September through April.

The Pitbulls’ future was thrown into doubt when Bristol’s Frogmore Street ice rink was demolished in 2012 but has since established a competitive national league side, built a loyal following and created a pathway for young players to progress into senior hockey.

Alongside its ambitions on the ice, the club works with schools, supports charities and contributes to community initiatives across the region.

Rowden employs around 200 people and delivers critical operational systems for defence, national security, and emergency response in the UK and internationally.

Recognised as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, Rowden continues to expand its engineering and delivery capabilities from the city.
